For our Business Group emerging markets we are currently recruiting the position:

Support the Development and Execution of the Sales Excellence Strategy :

* Identify and understand trends and recent research on sales force effectiveness inside and outside pharma. Develop and implement strategies and benchmarks that will help the Regions achieve world class status.
* Work with the global team to develop Emerging Markets-appropriate training and materials to support Sales Excellence.
* Lead the sales excellence network in the EMs to define the current Selling Model in the context of a World Class Selling Organization.

Champion the standardization of processes, methodologies and metrics across the Regions.

* Direct efforts to increase the efficiency of Business Managers and Sales Representatives including identifying, defining and standardizing "optimal" uses of time and prioritization of high-value non-customer interfacing time and elimination/re-direction of low-value work to other organizations
* Identify, assess and evaluate the costs of selling for the Region. Benchmark industry and out of industry to establish relevant standards. Review work in other Divisions and identify opportunities to collaborate and integrate effectively. Develop/evolve new cost of selling standards to determine implications on future investment choices.
* Establish standards for Sales Force Capacity and associated costs and direct efforts to identify "highest return" opportunities to meet standards.
* Leverage customer feedback data to determine impact on job roles as well as training and other systems/support needed to optimize performance from the customer's perspective.
* Direct efforts to develop standardized efficiency metrics as well as means for monitoring these metrics. Champion the standardization of metrics processes and methodologies across the Region.

Develop the Strategy for Excellence in Customer Channels

* Coordinate regional efforts to define the optimal way to address various customer channels and Accounts including Pharmacies, Hospitals and Tender Units - with special emphasis on Pharmacies.
* Secure sharing of best practices from across the region, GL&D and Diversified Brands and disseminate the strategy across all relevant markets.

Work with G&LD to define training programs to support delivery of the strategy at the Representative and KAM level as well as with the First Line Managers

Prior Experience

* Sales Representative, Sales Management and/or Sales Training preferred
Valuable to have Sales Force Effectiveness, Pharmacy Channel Strategy, Marketing Planning Experience and/or Emerging Markets Knowledge
