World Series: Rangers Fan Throws Ball On To Field Near Cardinals Outfielder Matt Holliday (VIDEO)

As the third game of the World Series went along it became clear that the Texas Rangers pitchers weren't throwing anything that was catching the Cardinals off guard.

During the bottom of the seventh inning, one renegade Rangers fan launched a dangerous throw perhaps with the aim of catching a few Cardinals players by surprise. He only succeeded on getting himself ejected from the game.

The fan, sitting in the first row in the left-center field stands, wound up and tossed the ball onto the field. It landed several feet to the left of Cardinals left fielder Matt Holliday as he fielded a sacrifice fly by Nelson Cruz.
