Update on Redevelopment of Wee Winks and Brindley Beach Real ...

In August 2012, the Duck Town Council approved a project to redevelop the properties at 1215 and 1216 Duck Road?which housed the Wee Winks Market and Gas Station, Brindley Beach Real Estate, and Baldie?s Burgers & Ice Cream.? The project involves the demolition of the existing buildings and the construction of three new buildings including a larger Wee Winks Market, a new Brindley Beach Real Estate Building, and an ABC Store.? A total of four commercial properties are being combined for this new development.? The project contractor is Renaissance Construction.? For a site plan, click here.

The project started on Monday, October 8, 2012 with the demolition of the buildings and the removal of the gas pumps.? Site grading and clearing will also begin.? The Town does not anticipate any impacts from the project other than normal construction activity.?
