Saleen Maureen to continue progressing in Coral On TV Maiden Trophy - Heat 3 at Romford
The J. Simpson-trained bitch, Saleen Maureen, climbed up the grading ladder quite nicely at Wimbledon. After four consecutive wins, the brindle bitch is in excellent shape, and looks a big player in third heat of the Coral On TV Maiden Trophy, taking place at Romford on Monday, September 10, 2012.
After starting her winning journey at the A5 level, she won an A4 meeting by a neck?s distance. The success at the A3 level came on August 25th, when she dominated the affair all the way through. Consequently, an excellent 3?-length triumph came to her credit.
Saleen Maureen?s latest win was at the A2 level, and it was not an easy one. The dashing bitch had to work really hard in order to retain lead all the way through. Sylvanna Crystal kept her under tremendous amount of pressure, but Saleen Maureen kept her confidence to enjoy the glory by a short head?s distance.
The daughter of Kingdom Law learnt a lot on her previous four starts. She looks quite ready for a cracking act at the top level. The pressure will certainly be massive in this class, but the way she performed recently, one can expect her to thrive.
Among her rivals are: Gurtmullen Penny, Severn Bolt, Lisloose David, Mister Bodell and Rebellious Story. According to the preset plan, the 400 metres contest will get started at 20:31 GMT. Just like the opening two heats of the trophy, it holds a cash prize worth ?150.
Severn Bolt has not yet opened his account, but shown enough recently to win races. The red box is an advantage for him. Rebellious Story?s inconsistency at the traps is the reason behind her patchy form. Don?t expect her to be dominant today.
Lisloose David, the local star, is back in groove in the graded fare. Gurtmullen Penny does have more scope for improvement than most. The blue bitch is consistent, and ran a good race in defeat last time. Mister Bodell faced a stiff task on his last visit here. This is also quite tough.
Gurtmullen Penny and Severn Bolt do have chances, but Saleen Maureen is expected to outclass both of them. Good luck to all the hounds.
